Joel Blaeser

     Hello I  am a  avid Grateful Dead fan that had the awesome gift and pleasure of seeing the Grateful Dead 101 times from 1984 (at age 15) to 1992 spanning five countries and over 30 states until as a first time non violent offender lost my Federal jury trial for selling LSD and was thus sentenced to 151 months of incarceration.  The whole story is chronicled in the book Letters From Marion, A Deadheads Journey from Peace to a Supermax Prison, ( available below ).   Released from U.S.P. Marion super max 23 hr lockdown 28 years ago I have not re offended since being released.

     The significance of the 1995 Federal prison uprising surrounding the drug law changes and specifically not changing the crack law as opposed to the meth, lsd and Marijuana laws ( all being made more lenient) and applied retroactively and affecting mostly whites was the direct cause of the riots all Starting in F.C.I. Talladega ( eventually spanning nationally over 11 federal prisons, the largest in size and scope of any prison uprising in the history of history on planet earth)    was / is the REASON AND GENESIS of this Book "Letters from Marion".  In addition to the riots "Letters from Marion" also covers the entire history of U.S.P. Marion and its most notorious convicts - one of which i now became... all of  Marions history was taught and  learned at the very first prison of my incarceration many years before the riots ever occurred ......

     Just days after the riots were nationally squelched I and 22  other black convicts were secretly late at night ferried to U.S.P. Marion and i was criminally charged with masterminding the entire thing thus facing another 20 years in prison.

     Shortly after release from USP Marion Supermax federal prison I  started restoring and developing real estate, buying  my  first property using a arcane law that I learned about while  inside  federal  prison,  allowing me  to secretly buy a property from the federal government at a United States Marshall drug seizure auction with no other bidders, it was called the unsolicited bid rule,  (827 E Wright street  Milwaukee, WI).  I am now on my 56th and 57th property in northern Wisconsin on the shores of Lake Michigan.

     I am a  author, writer, world traveler and I do not run 3 international corporations or speak 3 known languages and only attend board meetings on waves.  Love to  surf and  stay fit and am a healthy food junkie with a minor in National Parks and I share LSD (Living Spiritually Daily) tips via YouTube, Insta, and X.
